For some reason, a couple of bits of prose that I've written have caught the attention of an undue number of internet denizens, who keep asking me for a copy of them. So, here they are for your inspection:

The Ecumenical Plastic Jesus

Out on rec.music.folk, somone raised the spectre of that awful parody of 'Plastic Jesus' called 'Plastic Moses.' (You remember 'Plastic Jesus,' the opening song from 'Cool Hand Luke.' You see, the thing doesn't work, because if you're Jewish, the idea of a plastic Moses is just silly. Well, the wheels began to whirl, and 'The Ecumenical Plastic Jesus' was born. It is a song in the Woody Guthrie tradition. That is to say 'I ain't predjudiced...I offend everyone equally.'
